Lawn Mowing Simulator
Lawn Mowing Simulator is a professionally developed and published game by Skyhook Games and Curve Games
The player is tasked with taking the helm of their very own Lawn Mowing company, where they will not only mow the lawns of contracts they take on, but they will also have to manage employees, reputation and their earnings from completed contracts.
Players will be able to upgrade their headquarters, vehicles and equipment, and expand their team of employees as they progress through the game's career mode. They will also be able to mow for pleasure in the 'Free Mow' mode which includes every level the player has mowed in their career, to be played at their own pace and without consequence.
The majority of my time on the project was spent on level design, nearly all , however, as only one of two designers on the title, I also designed many of the systems and mechanics found in the game. I designed and whiteboxed 12 locations found in the base game, as well as 4 unreleased locations, and the 4 Headquarters location; as well as the 10 DLC locations. Along with the majority of the levels, I designed the challenge mode, and helped to refine the game systems, existing mechanics, and helped in designing the Strimmer DLC. There are currently 2 larger mechanics that I designed but were not implemented, including a fully concepted Photo Mode.
I oversaw much of the post-launch patching and updates as the sole designer still working on the title until I eventually moved onto newer projects we currently have in development.
